08 / QUESTIONS

Will Shruti add latency?

Not to untouched apps. They stay on the original direct path. An engaged app reports the actual latency of its chain, while Stage Mode bypasses processing within one buffer.

Can it disturb MainStage or my DAW?

Protected live hosts and routing engines are blocked before a tap can be created. Imported exclusions are protected the same way.

What exactly comes over from SoundSource?

App levels, mutes, favourites, built-in 10-band EQ, balance and exclusions. A matching installed Audio Unit receives its complete transferable preset; a missing plug-in is never guessed.

What happens after the trial?

When license sales open, Shruti will accept a one-time key. Until then it remains unlocked. Your saved settings and direct audio path are never held hostage.
